Given that the awareness for Mental Health is crucial in the Los Angeles community, the Youth Leadership Council members have decided to focus primarily on this subject matter for the 2018- 2019 Banyan Foundation Project.
Members discussed the importance of bringing awareness to Mental Health whether individuals are experiencing issues with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns among teens. In addition, it has been established through Visual and Performing Arts; teens and individuals may turn to these resources as an exponential beneficial factor during their process of seeking for help.
